Parks of this Blog

Throughout this blog, the main parks that I will be reviewing (my pillars) are going to be Disney Parks, Universal Studios Parks, Six Flags Parks, and Knott's Berry Farm. The reason behind choosing each of these parks is because these parks tend to have the most people attending, so I want to give you the reader, a good chance that you can find what you are looking for on my blog.

Disney Parks

Within this blog I will be reviewing Disneyland in the Anaheim location and Disney World in the Orlando location. Disneyland and Disney World share many similar attributes, but are still going to have massive differences. Each of these parks are going to be highlighted and reviewed separately. Each of these parks has big plans to remodel and update their parks, so stay tuned on my opinion on how these changes may be helping and hurting each of the parks.

Universal Studios Parks

I will be reviewing the Universal Studios Hollywood location and the Universal Studios Orlando location. While the Universal Studios Orlando location seems to be the more attractive one as many consumers see it as being the bigger, better, and more thrilling location Universal Studios Hollywood has also taken the steps to reposition itself as less of a "simulation" ride park. Both of these parks have a different experience as they have different attractions and areas in the park based around different movies. Both of these parks are built to target a more adult audience as the rides have several more thrills, rides based around films that are normally PG-13+, and the nostalgia of many films and properties that were released and big successes in the 80's and 90's.

Six Flags Locations

With Six Flags covering 23 amusement parks in the USA, it is safe to say they are a large theme park franchise. With this section in my blog, I want to highlight good about one of their most popular locations which is Six Flags Magic Mountain. While most of my reviews and writing will be based around the Magic Mountain location in Valencia California, I will still be discussing and reviewing aspects of each of the other parks as trends or news on updates comes for these parks. Six Flags resorts are known for being some of the most terrifying and exhilarating rides a person can ever go on. With rides at their locations such as X2, Goliath, and world record breaking King Da Ka, it is clear that Six Flags is not for the people who it is their first time riding a rollercoaster. Six Flags knows they are for rollercoaster junkies, and boy do they deliver.

Knott's Berry Farm

Knott's Berry Farm is located in Buena Park, California. I am choosing to review this park because in the past when I have attended, I loved it. Unfortunately, for many people this is not one of their "must do" parks. Some simply see Knott's Berry Farm as being a "kiddy" place to visit or they just have not heard of it. This is an interesting phenomenon to me, so I am choosing to review all of its ups and downs that the park faces with getting an audience. The park delivers on its thrilling rollercoasters as well as their kid attractions with much of the park being passed around Charles Schultz's Peanuts comics with characters such as Charlie Brown and Snoopy wondering around the park.
